Before you start: Use a soft measuring tape and stand naturally. Do not pull the tape too tightly and do not leave it loose. Keep your shoulders relaxed and use your planned heel height for all length measurements. For shoulder, back and floor measurements, ask a friend or tailor to help you. Measure in centimeters.

How tight should the measuring tape be?

The tape should touch the body without squeezing it. Too tight may make the dress small; too loose may create an oversized fit.

Can I measure myself?

Some measurements can be taken alone, but shoulder width, shoulder to floor, and sleeve length are more accurate with a helper.

Should I measure with heels?

Yes. Use the heel height you plan to wear on your wedding day for all length measurements (full height, shoulder to floor, sleeve length).

What is fit preference?

Fit preference (Step 17) tells us how you want the dress to feel: Very Fitted hugs the body closely, Standard Fit is the classic bridal fit, and Slightly Comfortable gives a little extra ease.

Why do you need the wedding date?

Your wedding date (Step 15) helps us plan the production and delivery timeline so your dress arrives with enough time for any final adjustments.
